The Halloween Post

Happy Halloween tomorrow!

I just finished this cute pumpkin wall hanging kit and I thought I'd share it.

It's called Pumpkin Grins.

I did some swirl quilting with spiderwebs in the corners.

I spent lots of time on those spiderwebs that you really can't see.  I considered quilting them with grey thread then I chickened out.

I was happy with the swirls.

This is the first time I used Aurifil thread and I really liked the look of it.

Copper decided to photobomb this shot.

And no Halloween post would be complete without a few carved pumpkins.

A  custom made roller coaster and a Minion from Despicable Me.

Halloween night we'll be giving out Halloween jelly beans along with some of our neighbors......

Oops! ha! ha!  We aren't giving out neighbors! Sitting in the driveway with the neighbors I mean!

What will you be doing for Halloween fun?

Love the pumpkin... and the quilting is beautiful. They say it's going to rain here tomorrow. So I'll be roaming the streets with a soaking wet bunny, the Flash and a dog (not a kid dressed up as a dog, but an actual dog!). Sounds like fun doesn't it? :-)

I love the pumpkin!!!! That is soooo cute.

Your carved pumpkins are wonderful too. We'll be having all of the kids and grands over for dinner followed by trick or treating.

Your halloween quilt is really fun! The quilting is awesome, as usual. I haven't tried aurofil thread yet, maybe I need to get some. We will be passing out treats tonight, but the pumpkins aren't carved (we were going to do it last night but they were sitting outside and it was only 41 degrees yesterday, so the insides of the pumpkins would only be 41 degrees. Brr!) Also, we normally have a whole graveyard with the fog machine and everything, but Sandy turned our yard into a swamp and we weren't able to get it out, so we don't have decorations, either. Oh well!

That is SUCH a cute pumpkin hanging! Love it! Unfortunately, Sandy put an end to all Halloween fun here near Philly until saturday!

Very adorable jack o lantern! Good job on your swirls. We stayed home and hubby gave out the candy. No pumpkin carving happened here--no kids around to do it with and not really fun by myself! Yours were great.
