It's Certainly A Tasty Thursday!

How do you like my helpers?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Pumpkin Pie Spectacular with a gingersnap cookie crust....Yum!!

My boys are working on the turkey and the dressing and I'm doing a little relaxing after making some of the sides and the pies earlier in the week.  After having our Thanksgiving meal at home we will be heading over to the neighbor's to share our desserts and maybe playing a little cornhole after that.

A homemade cheese ball and crackers, cream cheese mashed potatoes, apple-crabberry sage dressing, green bean casserole, pecan and pumpkin pies, cranberry sauce....I just love the kind from the can!......rolls, and of course yummy turkey and gravy are on our menu today......and for the next few days.  What are the Thanksgiving foods that make your meal special?  Have a great day with friends and family!

Happy Thanksgiving Michele! It's my stuffing that the kids rave about.

As kids we used to fight over who got the slice of cranberry cauce with the can rings on it. lol

We do our Thanksgiving on Sat. so I am looking forward to the great tastes.

Gorgeous pie. I never heard of cornhole until I moved to Ohio...then I discovered it's really just a bean bag toss! It's a very serious competition here!!!

The pie crust intrigues me! If I was not so stuffed right now, you would be making me hungry. Our favorite cranberry sauce comes in the can too. Our dinner included fluffy sweet potato biscuits.

Your pumpkin pie looks delicious. Care to share the recipe? I cooked some real pumpkins this year and still have some in the freezer. My favorite recipe is for Sweet potatoes with brown sugar and pecan topping.

I love your little pilgrims. I have some too, one year I drove to several Publix stores until I found them in stock. Some of our favorite Thanksgiving foods are cranberry salad, sweet potato souffle, fudge, dressing. It's funny how sometimes it just doesn't seem like its right unless we have our favorite foods.
