These Dulcinea blocks are coming together beautifully!
I just love when the blocks need to be trimmed to size.
It always makes the finished product so neat!
My Fit to Be Quarter ruler has been perfect for that.
Even with two trips in the past two weeks and guests visiting today, I had a bit of time to start quilting this one.
I appreciate your quilting suggestions for it in the comments a few weeks back.
Swirls seemed to be what would work best to me.
I wanted to make sure I had the freedom to choose where to quilt at the last minute to get all those seams flattened out. There were so many of them!
More pictures to come soon!

I have to agree about trimming segments for blocks. I just now sewed all my blocks together and they all matched up perfectly! I love that. Yours are looking great, too.
Great looking blocks! I am working on them too. And I love the swirly quilting~ way to go! :-) Have a happy weekend!
That fabric is just fabulous. I agree....trimming blocks to the correct size is wonderful.
Love your blocks and your fabric choice. Look forward to seeing it finished.
Wow, your blocks are amazing! I love the look you are getting with them.
I like when we need to trim as well! The blocks end up perfectly square and go together so much easier. Your blocks look awesome!

Lovely progress with your blocks. Good luck with the quilting. Sorry for the delay in reading- we were on holiday. I had some scheduled posts of Alnwick Garden for that week. I hope you enjoyed the colours.
