Today you'll find me putting away some groceries, working on a few projects, and tackling that ever present laundry pile!
The weather is wonderful here and it's just an all around good day.
I'm hoping to finish up my table runner. I just need to add the label and call it done.
This pink striped binding really makes it pop!
On my list of things to do is decide how to quilt this small top from way back when.
I've been having trouble deciding on quilt designs lately, but I really need want to get a few of these done so I can enjoy them.
I'm also waiting for a charm pack to arrive so I can get started on Gentle Art.
That's what's happening here today.
I hope you're having a nice day too.
I plan to be back soon with a finish!

I love a striped binding! That is one busy quilt!! Maybe a simple stitch in the ditch or simple meander.
ReplyDeleteGood luck finishing your UFOs. It will feel great when they are out of the way. Love the striped binding!
ReplyDeleteYou know that I love striped bindings. This one looks just like a stick of candy. I have no input on how to quilt the quilt. I would just do an all-over meander, because that is all I ever do, ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt, really love the pink in it and the binding!
ReplyDeleteLove the binding! I really can't provide any advice on the quilting... I always have such a hard time deciding on how to quilt too.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me the setting you used for the wavy stitch in the first photo? I tried to figure it out but one had a point from zig zag stitch. I want it rounded like yours. Love your quilt.
ReplyDeleteSorry no ideas on quilting designs..Love how after a minute the churn dash blocks start to pop out of the quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove that striped binding! And your little quilt with the churn dashes is wonderful! The weather is almost perfect! Wish it would stay like this, but I heard 90's are on their way...
ReplyDeleteI do love a stripy binding!!!
ReplyDeleteStriped bindings are so nice. I love the interest that they add to a quilt. I have only quilted one quilt and that was it for me, so I'm absolutely no help in that department.
ReplyDeleteThe wavy quilting in the tablerunner is cute, I love it. I would keep the bigger quilt simple quilting because it's busy.
ReplyDeleteI need to get some errands done as well, just need a nudge:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt---the colors are so cheery like a bouquet of flowers!
Oh, laundry. I know the feeling. :-( I love the looks of the quilt you finished. I'm so bad at picking quilt designs....
ReplyDeleteStraight lines? Emphasizing the cross shape formed in the middle? I really like the busy-ness of the quilt - and love the churn dash. Lots of quilting designs would work - good job!
ReplyDeleteI finally picked up the fabrics for the same table runner. I should just sit down and make it because it's going to be a quick one to do. Hopefully this weekend.
