My LePetite Project is finished! Lots and lots of triangles, but I love the results! The outer border was left off because I like
Mary's version and I don't know what color to use in the border anyway. Any ideas? Check out all of the other Mon Ami projects by visiting
Sherri and
Sinta in the next few days to see the parade.

Oh I love it Michele!!! Has a definite island feel. I think you should use it for your backdrop!! Not sure about the borders??? I've seen several without borders and they are VERY pretty. You could leave the borders off, just like it is. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt's WONDERFUL!! Love the fabric line.
ReplyDeleteYou Mon Ami is absolutely wonderful! I do like it without borders....perfecto!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous Michele!! I would like one of the pretty golds or purples in a solid for the outer border! But it's yours to choose!
ReplyDeleteI love it just the way it is, but if you feel like you have to have a border (or just want it bigger) how about more white with a scrapy binding? It would give it that "modern" look everyone is talking about. Shhhh, your's is still my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI just had to check out your blog when I saw your profile pic of the English Springer on the Spun Sugar Quilts blog. I have a Springer who will be 13 yrs old in a few weeks - eek! Yours (assuming it is yours) is gorgeous! I also like your blog - looking forward to checking in now and then to see what other beauties you're creating.
ReplyDeleteI Love the way your Mon Ami turned out. Your fabric choices are very fun.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the colors that you chose for your Mon Ami! It looks so bright & spring-y!
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute! You did a great job - and I love the fabric you used - very bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great without the border, I like it the way it is!
ReplyDeleteMichele I love it! You did a great job...I really like it without the border...Oh it's sooooooooo happy!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the suggestion of white with a scrappy border! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI just loved your version!!!
ReplyDeleteOOOOOoooooooo Congrats I just saw you won in the parade!!!
ReplyDeleteI was trying to figure out if this was Central Park or Fandango -- read your previous post -- they look so good together. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLooks really lively and gorgeous! Borders are hard. I'd probably lean towards a dark purple or green, but that might be too safe, LOL!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric did you use for your Mon ami
ReplyDeleteOh I love your Mon Ami!!!! Central Park is one of my favorite new fabric lines. I'm trying to decide what Schnibble to make with my charm squares.
