Thanksgiving and a quick blogging question too.....

A Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow to all of my American blog friends!

Enjoy the time with friends and family and all that yummy food too!

That was going to be the end of this post, but as I was getting these pictures onto Blogger I got a message saying my PicasaWeb album was full. Grrr.

I was able to delete a few pictures to fit these in, but I'm wondering what to do now.

Has anyone else run into this?  What did you do?

If you've got a few minutes between peeling potatoes and running to the grocery store one more time, I'd appreciate your help.  Thanks!

And can you believe we had to go to the store to get peppercorns today?  After getting all that food and checking and double checking, pepper is what we didn't have?  Good grief!
Did you forget anything and have to go back?

I think the picture issue is something new and you're not the only person to encounter it today. It might be a glitch, or a new way for them to make money. I bet we'll all know in a few days.

I am out of dish soap, so during the drive to my parents I'm going to buy some at the gas station!

You're the second person who said they were having problems with Picasa. I think the only thing you can do is either compress your pictures (don't ask me how to do that though cuz I have no clue) or delete pictures completely. And on another note, have a happy Thanksgiving Michele! :-)

Happy Thanksgiving to you! I'm not sure what to do about the photos, but like the others, I have heard about it too. I'm at my Mom's house. We don't think we forgot anything at this point, but you never know. We are taking a bunch of stuff to my sister's house, so something necessary will probably be forgotten!

This happened to me a couple of years ago. I bought the smallest amount of google storage, through google, and each year then remind me when it's due. It's something like $5.00 a year and it's a lot of storage. Just so you know...if you aren't resizing your photos smaller that eats up a lot of storage.

Reading the previous comment -- this is not a new issue that someone is trying to make money on. It happens. Most things are free, like being able to use blogger. But they only give you so much for free.

Have a yummy Thanksgiving.

That happened to me last night :( I would be happy to compress my photos, only can not figure out where to go in Picasa to do it! Also If you delete the photos, they will no longer appear on your blog.

I plan on buying more storage, but still need to figure out how to compress the photos. Good luck to you (and me)
Happy ThanksGiving :)

Happy Thanksgiving Michele! I'll find out tomorrow if we're missing anything but hopefully can live without it. I received a lovely package today - thank you!

I paid the $5 for more storage - and now I'm really glad I did since Webshots is closing down and I was able to move all of my photos over to Picasa! Have Happy, Happy Thanksgiving, Michele!! I'm not cooking, so I only have to remember to bring the extra chair my mom requested - LOL!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Michele.

No cooking here - everything is happening at my DD's and my son in law is a chef so.... LOL

Happy Thanksgiving! No photo advice for you. I don't use Picasa. I just upload direct from my pc. But there is a website to use to compress your pictures. I have just to think of what it is. I use it every now and again.

Hi Michele! I had that problem some time ago. I bit the bullet and paid $5.00 to increase my Picasa space. It gave me so much for just $5 that I don't think I'll ever run out!
Cheers!

I use Picasa too but "websize" my photos smaller before I upload, usually to 480 to 640 pixels, using a hint from Lazy Gal Quilting I luckily found early in my blogging days. I have used less than 5% of my alloted space in the nearly four years I have been blogging. See this post for her instructions: http://lazygalquilting.blogspot.com/2008/09/some-of-this-some-of-that.html

Good luck!

And yes, I did have to go back to the store....

Beautiful quilt. Another lady I stalk had the same email from Picassa.

When I ran out of storage on my old blog, I just started a new one with a link in the final post to my new blog. Most people made the change on their stalk lists so I didn't lose touch with regulars.

Can you tell I'm behind in reading blogs. I was wondering if your little pilgrims arethe Publix Pilgrims? Did you make the pattern yourself? They are cute as can be.
